Klaus-Peter Schulenberg

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Klaus-Peter Schulenberg has been active in the entertainment industry for more than 45 years. While still a student, he founded an artist management and event agency that organised concerts by Alice Cooper and the Rolling Stones in Germany. After founding and acquiring various other companies in the event industry, Schulenberg acquired the ticketing company CTS in 1996. In 2000, the company went public as CTS EVENTIM AG, and Schulenberg, as its largest shareholder and CEO, continues to be formative in its successful development into one of the world’s leading providers of ticketing and live entertainment. As Chairman of the Management Board, Schulenberg’s responsibilities include Corporate Strategy and Development, e-Commerce, Legal Affairs, Human Resources, and Communications.

Holger Hohrein

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Holger Hohrein (born 1971) graduated in business administration before launching his career at McKinsey, where he advised financial services providers on strategic treasury and risk management issues. After nine years with the management consultancy, he moved to a listed online bank, comdirect, in 2008. It was here in 2013 that Hohrein was promoted to the board of managing directors as CFO with responsibility for IT, corporate strategy, business development and innovation management. In 2017, his career then took him to the Hamburg-based fintech company Deposit Solutions, where as COO he was responsible for the company’s international expansion and for platform development. From 2020, Hohrein was CFO and CRO at the financial services provider PEAC Finance, where he focused on transitioning the firm’s business model to one of a deposit-taking bank and implementing pan-European transformation projects.

Alexander Ruoff

Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Alexander Ruoff became a member of the Management Board of CTS EVENTIM AG in July 2002. A graduate in business administration, his career led him to the Bremen-based Messerknecht Group in 1993, first as Director of Messerknecht CIM Consulting und Vertriebs GmbH, and later as Managing Partner of Messerknecht-Meister Informationssysteme GmbH and its subsidiaries Showsoft (ticketing) and Cargosoft (logistics). Shortly after the acquisition of Showsoft GmbH by the EVENTIM Group in 2001, Ruoff was appointed to the Management Board of CTS EVENTIM AG. As Chief Operating Officer, Ruoff is responsible for Sales, Marketing, IT, and International Business Development.
