Munich, 6. März 2014. SDAX listed CTS EVENTIM AG (ISIN DE0005470306) successfully builds on its European expansion with further acquisitions. Agreements to take over three ticketing companies and an exclusive ticketing contract with Stage Entertainment group for Europe and Russia were executed in Amsterdam today. CTS Eventim acquires from Stage Entertainment group their ticketing companies in Spain, the Netherlands and France. These include See Tickets Entradas SA seated in Madrid and See Tickets Nederland BV seated in Amsterdam. Both are among the market leaders in their respective countries, and in addition to Stage Entertainment musicals also offer tickets for various concerts, sports and other events. At the same time, CTS Eventim also acquires Top Tickets France SAS seated in Paris, and takes over the ticket sales for Stage Entertainment in Russia, where the group is successfully operating two theatres. Stage Entertainment is a leading musical show producer and promoter in the world and has been relying exclusively on CTS Eventim in Germany for more than three years.
The purchase price is around 25 million Euros. CTS EVENTIM AG expects the transaction to generate additional annual revenues of around 20 million Euros and an EBITDA of around 5 million Euros. In addition to this, CTS Eventim’s executive board expects significant synergies for the years to come.
