CTS EVENTIM is the exclusive ticketing provider of the World Athletics Championships Budapest 2023

• 420,000 tickets to go on sale on 12 December

Munich, 9 December 2022. CTS EVENTIM, one of the leading international providers of ticketing services and live entertainment, is the exclusive ticketing provider of the World Athletics Championships Budapest 2023 in Hungary. From August 19-27, 2023, Budapest will host the world's third largest sporting event, the World Athletics Championships. It is the biggest sporting event in the history of Hungary, attended by athletes from more than 200 countries. Marking 250 days to go to this much anticipated event, the WCH Budapest 2023 Local Organising Committee will put 420,000 tickets on sale on 12 December in a first come, first served online ticketing programme. Tickets and packages are available for a total of 14 stadium sessions. A further 6 competitions will be held outside the stadium in the World Heritage city centre of Budapest.

The brand-new National Athletics Centre will host the WCH Budapest 23. The arena will have an initial capacity of 35,000 for the 2023 championships before being reduced to 15,000 as part of a sustainable reconstruction. The venue is built on the eastern bank of the Danube River on the south side of the city.
