Munich, August 18, 2008. CCTS EVENTIM AG with immediate effect becomes the exclusive ticketing partner of Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) in Germany. US-based AEG Inc. is one of the world’s largest promoters of tours and concerts and operates numerous venues in the USA and Europe. The German business of AEG encompasses major arenas like O2 World in Berlin and Color Line Arena in Hamburg as well as the German ice hockey league (DEL) teams Eisbären Berlin (Berlin Ice Bears) and Hamburg Freezers and the organisation and promotion of events.
Tickets for events of Anschutz Entertainment Group, for their German venues and for their sports clubs will be offered exclusively over EVENTIM systems. The O2 World arena will open on Septem-ber 12, 2008 with an album release party of Metallica, followed on September 13 by a con-cert of Herbert Grönemeyer and thereafter by the first official ice hockey league match of the Berlin Ice Bears and a concert by Coldplay in the new arena.
