Bremen, 18. July 2014. CTS EVENTIM AG & Co. KGaA, listed in the SDAX index and Europe’s leading ticketing company, continues to expand and is now assuming leadership of the Italian sports ticketing market. Milan-based TicketOne S.P.A, a member of the EVENTIM group of companies, has acquired the entire ticketing business of the G-Tech/Lottomatica Group. In Italy, Lottomatica is second to market leader TicketOne in the ticketing industry and specialised in the sports market.

Under its LISTICKET brand, Lottomatica handles the ticketing operations for 12 clubs in the first Italian football league, known as ‘Serie A’. LISTICKET sells a total of more than 5 million tickets annually. The assets being taken over by TicketOne also include access to the Lottomatica sales network of more than 1,000 box offices throughout Italy.

By making this transaction, TicketOne is significantly extending its leadership of the Italian market. Substantial scale effects can be achieved by integrating the LISTICKET
business, and the number of TicketOne box offices in Italy can be more than doubled.
