CTS EVENTIM and Medusa expand live entertainment activities in the southwest of Germany

Munich, 19 January 2017. Medusa Music Group, belonging to MDAX-listed CTS EVENTIM AG & CO. KGaA, has created a new basis for the expansion of their live entertainment busi-ness in southwest Germany at the beginning of the year. With newly founded Vaddi Concerts GmbH, a fully owned subsidiary of Medusa, a new powerful promoter in the Freiburg area will be established.

Managing Director of Vaddi Concerts will be Marc Oßwald, a known face in the German mu-sic business and deeply rooted in South Germany. Oßwald became known through his activi-ty as manager and promoter of Dieter Thomas Kuhn & Band and he has managed KOKO & DTK Entertainment GmbH’s affairs since 2001 and led the “Zelt Musik Festival” in Freiburg since 2007. Aside from Oßwald, second Managing Director will be Dr. Frithjof Pils.

In autumn 2016 it became public that Marc Oßwald had separated from his long-time co-shareholders and co-directors at KOKO & DTK Entertainment GmbH. At Vaddi Concerts GmbH he will now take care of a wide-ranging event program in Baden-Wuerttemberg and the surrounding regions in Bavaria, Austria, Switzerland and France. In addition to the loca-tion in Freiburg a second office is planned to open in Tuebingen in September 2017.
