Music industry „Oscars“ awarded to best service providers in live entertainment

Bremen, 12th of March 2015. Whether for pop concerts, musicals or sports events – hundreds of millions of tickets are getting sold in Europe every year. Europe‘s no.1 ticketing service provider, CTS EVENTIM, has now been honored for its excellent achievements with the ARTHUR Award in the ticketing category. The ARTHUR can be characterized as a kind of music industry „Oscar“ which is awarded annually at the International Live Music Conference (ILMC) in ten categories, ranging from the best venues and festivals to agencies and ticketing services. The laureates are selected by delegates and members of the ILMC, which is a veritable Who Is Who of the live music industry, hosting more than 4000 entertainment professionals from over 60 countries.

It was Rainer Appel, EVENTIM Senior Vice President, who accepted the TicketingARTHUR in London last weekend: „This award is an acknowledgement of our work. Today, customers expect much more than a mere ticket. CTS is at the audience’s side from the very first contact with mobile seating plans via the issuing of Fan Tickets down to smartphone-based access control at the venue. Our services are constantly expanded and improved through a continuous development of innovative products. And the fact that the international live entertainment industry expresses its appreciation of our efforts by honoring us with the ARTHUR Award 2015 is extremely gratifying.”
