Munich/London 10 February 2020. CTS EVENTIM, one of the world’s leading providers of ticketing services and live entertainment, has appointed John Gibson (52) as Managing Director for EVENTIM UK, a 100 percent subsidiary of CTS EVENTIM holding in Germany. Gibson started his new role in January.
For CTS EVENTIM holding, the UK represents a core market in Europe and is an important component of its international portfolio.
Gibson joins EVENTIM UK from Groupon UK, an online marketplace, where he headed up their live ticketing business pan-EMEA. He also has significant experience in the ticketing services and live entertainment industry; having previously held senior positions at SeatGeek Entertainment, Vivaticket, Ticketmaster UK and SEE Tickets.
