STAGE ENTERTAINMENT AND CTS EVENTIM ENTER INTO HOLIDAY ON ICE JOINT VENTURE

Amsterdam/Munich, 1 September 2014. Stage Entertainment and CTS Eventim have entered into a joint venture agreement involving Holiday on Ice, a subsidiary of Stage Entertainment. Under the agreement, the completion of which is still subject to approval by the German antitrust authorities (Bundeskartellamt), CTS Eventim’s subsidiary promotion company Medusa will acquire a 50% stake in Holiday on Ice.  
 
In the new joint venture Stage Entertainment and CTS Eventim will work closely together to help Holiday on Ice produce, develop, promote and present touring arena ice shows worldwide. 
 
Peter O’Keeffe, CEO of Stage Entertainment, and Klaus-Peter Schulenberg, CEO of CTS Eventim, are positive and enthusiastic about the envisioned joint venture as it will allow Holiday on Ice to benefit from the complementary strengths of both partners. The joint venture will put Holiday on Ice in an excellent position to extend the reach of its existing and future shows and realise further growth as it enters a new phase of international expansion.  
 
With shows performed since 1943, Holiday on Ice is one of the longest continuously operating live entertainment companies in the world. It has grown into an internationally respected brand name for top-quality ice show entertainment enjoyed worldwide by audiences of all generations. This season Platinum will be presented in Germany, Austria, Poland and the United Kingdom. The tour of the new show Passion will start on 27 November in Grefrath, Germany, followed by a tour in France.
